History

Administrative Court - Blagoevgrad is part of the structure of the judicial system of the Republic of Bulgaria in its most recent history. Administrative Court - Blagoevgrad begins to enter into force on March 1, 2007, together with 27 other specialized administrative courts in the country, established by the new Administrative Procedure Code, adopted by the National Assembly on March 29, 2006 and promulgated in the State Gazette No. 30 of 11 April 2006, the adoption of which facilitates citizens 'access to justice, accelerated administrative justice and better protection of citizens' rights and legitimate interests. The seat and judicial area of ​​the Administrative Court - Blagoevgrad coincide with the seat and judicial area of ​​the District Court - Blagoevgrad.

Administrative Court - Blagoevgrad deals with administrative cases as a first instance, as well as a cassation instance on appeals against decisions of district courts in the Blagoevgrad judicial district. The SAC is a court of cassation for cases brought before the administrative courts in the country. The Supreme Administrative Court exercises supreme judicial oversight for the accurate and uniform application of laws in administrative justice; inspects as a court of cassation the judicial decisions issued in administrative cases and examines applications for annulment of administrative court decisions that have entered into force.
